Bottle 6 of 12- Chilano Chardonnay Sauvignon Blanc 2009, Chile

Just a short post today, as my dissertation deadline is looming…

Made from a blend of 70% Chardonnay and 30% Sauvignon Blanc grapes, this wine ‘offers a lovely mouthful of pineapple, white peach and fresh fruit’. While quite delicate on the palate for a Chardonnay, the flavours weren’t as fully developed as I would have liked, but the citrus undertones went fantastically well with the quarter of an apple pie that I demolished last night (like I say, my dissertation deadline is looming… and comfort eating comes with it!)
