Following your blog post on Clare Valley Riesling I decided to try it on my recent holiday. Normally I steer clear of dry wine, preferring a sweet, light wine but the resturant I was in, in Singapore had a very poor selection, offering only 2or3 whites, the other 2 were Chardonnay which I would have ordinarily chosen over a Riesling but remembering what you had written I thought I would try the Clare Valley and was pleasantly surprised. I have since been keeping my eye open for offers in my local supermarket.

Well Jen, the recipes sound absolutely delicious! Fancy cooking the cheese in its box. What a novel idea! Also everything cooked in so little time; that’s my idea of fun in the kitchen. I’m going to show Gary and we’ll try it for ourselves. Trouble is he would drink the wine whilst cooking so we would need a couple of bottles!

Well done you two! Glynis xxx

  3. My favourite of your posts is the gewurstrraminer (sp?) – love the sound of the lychee & melon hints.

My favourite that I’ve actually tried – sains sauvignon blanc – love a glass of Sauvignon!

    Great giveaway idea

    Xxx

  4. Snowball martini sounds amazing…cannot wait to make it!!! Xx

Has to be the Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc. This was my favourite tipple when I was travelling down under. Your post brought back many fond memories and I just had to go out and buy some 🙂 Xx
