Villa Wolf Pinot Gris 2011

Having sat my WSET Advanced exam this morning, I definitely felt that I deserved a glass of wine with my dinner. Alongside a simple Monday night supper of Thai chicken salad, this German Pinot Gris was just the ticket.

Available from award winning wine merchant Corks Out for £9.75, this full bodied white with flavours of ripe apricot has an off dry palate making it the perfect match to dishes with a hint of spice. Alternatively, try it with a vegetable tart such as this one from Michel Roux which made my mouth water on BBC Food and Drink this evening!
