Pimms o’clock

Pimms and summer go hand-in-hand and while the rain poured in London last night, I was intrigued to try out the Pimms summer garden pop-up in Leicester Square. Ending today (get in quick), with guaranteed sunshine, picnic blankets, scotch eggs, and Wimbledon on the big screen, what better place to go for a classic No.1 or to try the new Blackberry and Elderflower concoction.

For a gin fan like me it will always be the classic, however if you prefer something vodka-based and fruity, this refreshing new tipple is ideal – just add lemonade or sparkling water, top with some ice and summer berries and make for the garden.

*You can get a 70cl bottle from Waitrose for £16.
